Agreement to Terms

By accessing growcrlivingir.world or booking our candle-making workshops, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.

Workshop Services

Growcrlivingir provides candle-making workshop experiences in Auckland, New Zealand. Our services include:

  • Guided candle-making instruction for individuals and groups
  • All materials required for creating candles during the workshop
  • Packaging supplies for taking home completed candles
  • Refreshments during workshop sessions

Booking and Payment

Workshop bookings are subject to the following conditions:

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your spot
  • All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST
  • Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment and email confirmation
  • Group bookings require a minimum of 6 participants

Workshop Participation

By participating in our workshops, you acknowledge that:

  • Candle-making involves working with hot wax and you will follow all safety instructions
  • You will arrive on time for your scheduled workshop session
  • Participants under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult
  • Any fragrance sensitivities should be communicated prior to the workshop

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation terms are as follows:

  • Cancellations made 7 or more days before the workshop receive a full refund
  • Cancellations made 3-6 days before the workshop receive a 50% refund
  • Cancellations made less than 3 days before receive no refund
  • Rescheduling is available subject to availability with at least 48 hours notice

Intellectual Property

All content on growcrlivingir.world, including text, images, and designs, is the property of Growcrlivingir and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

Growcrlivingir is not liable for:

  • Minor burns or injuries resulting from failure to follow safety instructions
  • Damage to personal clothing during workshop activities
  • Allergic reactions to fragrances if not disclosed prior to the session
  • Candle performance after leaving our workshop premises

Photography

We may photograph workshop sessions for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform our staff at the beginning of your session.

Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act

Nothing in these Terms of Use limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) or the Fair Trading Act 1986 (FTA). Where you are a “consumer” under the CGA (for example, when you book our workshops for personal or domestic use), the statutory guarantees in the CGA apply to our services. Our limitation of liability above applies only to the extent permitted by the CGA. We will not engage in conduct that is misleading or deceptive under the FTA.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand. You may also be able to use the Disputes Tribunal for eligible claims.
