Workshop Booking Refunds
At Growcrlivingir, we understand that plans can change. Our refund policy for candle-making workshop bookings is designed to be fair while allowing us to manage our workshop capacity effectively.
Your statutory rights. This policy is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA). We do not seek to exclude or limit those rights. Where our service does not meet the guarantees under the CGA (for example, where the service is not carried out with reasonable care and skill or is not fit for purpose), you may have remedies such as repair, refund, or compensation under that Act, regardless of the cancellation timelines below.
Cancellation Timeline
- 7+ days before workshop: Full refund of workshop fee
- 3-6 days before workshop: 50% refund of workshop fee
- Less than 3 days before workshop: No refund available
- No-show without notice: No refund available
Rescheduling Options
We offer flexible rescheduling to accommodate your needs:
- Rescheduling with 48+ hours notice: Free of charge, subject to availability
- Rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice: Subject to a NZD $20 administrative fee
- Rescheduling must be completed within 3 months of the original booking date
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or reschedule your workshop booking:
- Contact us via email at customer@growcrlivingir.world
- Include your booking confirmation number and preferred action
- Allow 5-7 business days for refunds to be processed to your original payment method
Workshop Cancellations by Us
In rare cases, Growcrlivingir may need to cancel a workshop due to:
- Insufficient participant numbers (minimum 4 participants required)
- Instructor illness or unavailability
- Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control
In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
Gift Vouchers
Workshop gift vouchers purchased from Growcrlivingir:
- Are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
- Can be transferred to another person
- Are non-refundable but can be redeemed for any available workshop type
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
Private Group Bookings
For private group workshops, the following additional terms apply:
- A non-refundable deposit of NZD $150 is required to secure your date
- Final payment is due 7 days before the scheduled workshop
- Changes to group size can be made up to 48 hours before the event
- Reduced group sizes may result in adjusted per-person pricing
Exceptional Circumstances
We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis for exceptional circumstances such as:
- Serious illness or family emergency (documentation may be requested)
- Severe weather conditions affecting travel safety
- Government-mandated restrictions
